LOCAL PEOPLE. PRACTICAL HELP.
Meet Koala Cleaning
Founded by Gabrielle in Peterborough, Koala Cleaning helps local households and businesses make room for the things they would rather spend their time doing.
A local business with a personal beginning
Gabrielle started Koala Cleaning with a straightforward idea: provide cleaning with a personal touch for people who need dependable help with their homes and workplaces. The business grew with support from the community and the work of its cleaning team.
Today, Koala Cleaning serves Peterborough and nearby communities. We work in homes, apartments, rental properties and business premises, with each cleaning plan shaped around the space and the person arranging the visit.
We begin by listening
A useful cleaning appointment starts with knowing what matters to you. When you contact us, we take note of the rooms, tasks and special instructions you want included. At the first visit, a walkthrough helps explain those priorities. If you cannot be there, clear access instructions and a description of the work help us prepare.
Your preferences might include extra attention in the kitchen, instructions for a particular finish or rooms that should be left undisturbed. We discuss those details when planning the scope and estimated cleaning time.
A team chosen with care
Our selection process includes interviews and background checks. We value trust, clear communication and respectful care of the spaces we enter. The team brings the cleaning supplies and equipment needed for the agreed visit.
Our products include household and professional cleaning supplies, along with our vacuum. If you have product preferences or delicate surfaces, tell us before the appointment so we can discuss what is appropriate.
Service for different kinds of days
Some clients choose regular house cleaning to stay on top of everyday tasks. Others need a deep clean, help before a move or cleaning after a renovation. We also support local businesses through commercial cleaning and help hosts prepare rentals between guests.
Our cleaning is billed by the hour. Estimates reflect the time expected for the property and requested tasks, while the final bill is based on actual cleaning time. We explain the scope and arrangements so you can plan the appointment.
Start with a conversation
Tell us where you are, what you need cleaned and when you would like help. You can request a cleaning quote, call or text 705-300-0175, or read our frequently asked questions. If you are outside Peterborough, check our service areas and ask about availability at your address.

They were able to accommodate us last minute and kept me updated on the clean throughout as I was not able to be on location. Gabrielle was very helpful at getting our property cleaned while still staying in our budget. Could not thank her and the team enough!”
